You don’t have to drop four or five dollars at Starbucks for your favorite drinks. Save yourself some money and make this one at home!

1/2 cup expresso
2 1/2 cup 2% milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tbl. dry pectin

Combine all ingredients in a pitcher and stir until sugar is dissolved. Chill and serve cold. Makes 24 ounces.

To make the “Mocha” variety: add a pinch of cocoa powder to the mixture before combining.

To make expresso with a drip coffee maker and standard ground coffee: use 1/3 cup coffee grounds and 1 cup water. Brew once and run the coffee through the maker again using the same grounds. This makes about 1/2 cup expresso to use in the above recipe.
