Just to spice things up a bit our Gourmet Club decided to do a game night and have everyone bring an appetizer. Here are two ideas of appetizers you could bring to an event like this along with a picture of our group.

Chicken Wraps

2 (6-ounce) packages fully cooked chicken strips, chopped
1 1/2 cups coleslaw mix with carrots
1 (15-ounce) can seasoned black beans, drained
1/3 cup Ranch dressing
1/2 cup chopped green onions
8 (8-inch) flour tortillas
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup barbecue sauce

Combine first 5 ingredients, and set aside.
Place tortillas on baking sheets, and sprinkle each evenly with Cheddar cheese.
Bake at 350° for 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Top evenly with chicken mixture. Drizzle evenly with barbecue sauce. Roll up, jellyroll fashion, and wrap in parchment paper, twisting ends of paper and tying with raffia to seal. Cut in half. Serve immediately.

Meatball Wraps

32 frozen italian style meatballs (no sauce – thawed)
2 cans 8 count crescent rolls
2 Tbl melted butter (for brushing tops of cooked appetizers)
Grated Parmesan (for sprinkling tops of cooked appetizers)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly spray large baking sheet with vegetable oil
Open crescent rolls, carefully unroll into 8 squares.
Each square already has 1 diagonal cut, make another cut diagonally in the other direction – making an X and cutting the crescent into 4 pieces.
Wrap a meatball with one small piece of the crescent roll & place on prepared cooking sheet. Continue with remaining 31 meatballs and crescents placing roll ups approximately 1 inch apart on cooking sheet.
Cook according to directions on crescent roll can – baking for approximately12 minutes.
Upon removing from oven brush tops lightly with melted butter and sprinkle with grated parmesan
