1st layer- crust
In a 9×13 glass baking dish combine
1 stick of butter
1 cup of flour
1 cup of chopped nuts (save a bit of the nuts aside for garnishing the top)
Bake at 350 till lightly browned
Cool completely

2nd layer
1 16oz pkg of cream cheese softened
1 cup of powdered sugar
Blend together then fold in 1 8oz pkg of cool whip

3rd layer
1 large pkg of instant chocolate pudding
Mix according to the box directions then add
1 8oz pkg of sour cream

4th layer
Top the dessert with another pkg of cool whip and the nuts you saved from the crust.
You may also add some shaved chocolate to the top
