Cranberry Turkey Breast or Chicken

1 c. hot water
1 whole chicken or breast of turkey
1 1/2 oz pkg onion soup mix
16 oz can cranberry sauce

Pour hot water into slow cooker. Place chicken/turkey skin side up; set aside. Blend soup mix into cranberry sauce, pour over chicken. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours. Reduce to low setting, cook 5-6 hours. Let stand briefly before slicing.

Easy Herbed Chicken

3-5 lb chicken, cut up
3/4 c. Miracle Whip
3/4 c. Parmesan Cheese
1 tsp. Oregano
1 tsp. Basil

Skin chicken and place in slow cooker. Combine miracle whip, cheese, oregano, and basil. Spread over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

Salsa Chicken

4 chicken breasts
1 cup salsa
1 pkg taco seasoning
1 can reduced fat cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup reduced fat sour cream

Add chicken, taco seasoning on top of chicken, then add salsa and soup on top. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Mix in sour cream before serving. Makes 6 servings and is only 157 calories per serving. Spoon on top of rice or noodles or roll up in tortillas.
