Some people say you don’t need your gallbladder, so it’s no big deal to take it out. I’m one who believes God wouldn’t have given us something we don’t need, so let’s try to save it!

To keep from getting gallstones; do not eat fried or fatty foods. Cut way back or give up: meat, dairy products and eggs. Cut way back on alcohol and caffeine also. Do not eat processed, sugary or junk foods.

Drink lots of water and exercise. Increase Vitamin C and fiber. Keep your weight down and do not overeat.

You might consider taking 2 tablespoons of lecithin daily, which is suppose to lower and disperse the stones if you do have them.
