This past week I was cooking at a youth mission week at church and one morning for breakfast we made Monkey Bread using canned biscuits. The kids went crazy over them! Then I ran across these ideas for other recipes using canned biscuits. A good reference list:

1.
Separate 1 package (6) refrigerated biscuits. Snip into small pieces. Place in 6 greased muffin cups. Brush with melted margarine. Top with cooked bacon pieces. Bake in a 450 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden.

2.
Separate 1 package (6) refrigerated biscuits. Cut biscuits in half. Place 2 halves, rounded edges up, in each greased muffin cup. Brush with melted margarine. Sprinkle with sesame seed; pat seeds onto dough. Bake in a 450 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes or till golden.

3.
In a greased 9×1.5-inch round baking pan spread 1/3 cup caramel ice-cream topping. Sprinkle with 1/3 cup miniature semisweet chocolate pieces. Separate 1 package (8) refrigerated breadsticks; arrange coiled dough on topping. Bake in a 375 degree oven about 15 minutes or till golden. Immediately invert onto a platter.

4.
Separate 1 package (4) refrigerated crescent rolls. Top each with 2 tablespoons shredded Monterey Jack cheese with jalapeno peppers. Roll up and bake according to package directions.

5.
Separate 1 package (10) refrigerated biscuits. Dip tops into 3 tablespoons melted margarine or butter, and then dip tops into 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese. Bake biscuits according to package directions.

6.
Separate 1 package (4) refrigerated crescent rolls into 2 rectangles; pinch perforations to seal. Cut each portion lengthwise into 4 strips. Roll each strip around a pitted ripe olive or pimiento-stuffed olive. Place on a baking sheet. Bake in a 400 degree oven about 8 minutes or till golden. Serve warm.

7.
Separate 1 package (8) refrigerated breadsticks. Uncoil or leave coiled. Brush with 2 tablespoons melted margarine or butter. Dip into a mixture of 3 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Bake according to package directions.

8. And the Monkey Bread? I posted it last year! Here: http://www.abridescookbook.com/blog/miscellaneous/3-youth-breakfast-favorites/
